Suburban Hematology Oncology Associates, PC was started in 1982 by Dr. Landis and Dr. Freedman. The idea of SHOA was to provide the people of Gwinnett County with the highest quality hematologic and oncologic care available. Hematology refers to disorders of the blood and oncology refers to cancer. The two are closely related but not every person with a hematological problem has cancer.

Today, SHOA is comprised of seven board certified physicians and three locations throughout Gwinnett County. You will be seen in our office usually via a referral from another physician.
