Suburban Hematology-Oncology Associates
Center For Cancer Care Of Gwinnett Medical Center
Suburban Hematology Oncology Associates, PC was started in 1982 by Dr. Anthony Landis and Dr. Allan Freedman. The idea of SHOA was to provide the people of Gwinnett County with the highest quality of hematologic and oncologic care available.
Today, SHOA is comprised of nine board certified physicians and three locations throughout Gwinnett County. In the fall 2012 SHOA and Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) announced the creation of an integrated care network that provides the residents of Gwinnett and surrounding communities with oncology and hematology-related services. The infusion center at SHOA was named the Center for Cancer Care, a service of Gwinnett Medical Center. This close relationship allows SHOA and GMC to deliver a seamless continuum of care for the community.
